What is Prompt management?

Prompt management is the practice of storing, approving and sharing a team's prompts so AI output stays consistent and on-brand.

Left to individuals, prompts live in people's heads and personal notes, so output quality depends entirely on who's at the keyboard. Prompt management makes the good prompts a shared, governed asset instead.

Done well, it captures what a team's best people do, makes those prompts the default for everyone, and keeps that know-how when individuals move on. It's the operational side of a prompt library.
